Babra Mumia
Born and raised in Kenya, Babra is an International Student no stranger to Minnesota. She has lived here since she was 12 years of age. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. She’s worked as a Program Manager at Kadiri House, a boy's group home helping young people exit the Human Services system and the Department of Corrections.
Currently, she serves on the board of Annex Teen Clinic as a board member and a treasurer. She has returned to school to pursue her Nursing degree and also hopes to do her PhD at the University of Minnesota. Babra’s interest lies in making long-lasting changes in the community at the grassroots level.
In addition to serving, she is a mother to twin boys (Joshua and Jeshaiah) and enjoys spending time with them, reading, cooking, swimming, and watching movies.
