Jugaad Leadership Program

“Jugaad” is a Hindi and Punjabi word that means “innovation.” The Jugaad Leadership Program was developed in 2015 to empower the St. Cloud community to assume responsibility for positive social change. This 7-month leadership program is designed to provide people of color and other underrepresented folks with the knowledge, skills and resources to become effective leaders at the grassroots level.

JLP completed our 2023 Leadership Cohort in September of this year. The closing of the cohort was marked by a graduation celebration to honor our graduating cohort members. Family members and friends of cohort members, as well as local leaders, program sponsors and other community groups joined for an evening meal, along with entertainment, recognition, and speeches by two members of the graduating cohort.
