Lander Climate Action Network (LCAN) is a grassroots nonpartisan group of Lander citizens working to create a sustainable future for our local community. Its MISSION is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Lander, WY through a commitment to environmental sustainability, community engagement, and economic viability.

The mission of the Wind River Food Sovereignty Project is to increase the supply of local, healthy, affordable food on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming by supporting Reservation-based food production.

The Nature Conservancy Wyoming is recognized for our ability to organize and leverage partners – from landowners and community leaders to ranchers and students – for landscape-scale outcomes. We deploy research and science to reclaim areas left scarred by development and to engage and educate all ages about the impact of a changing climate on plants and wildlife.

Through the introduction of new administrative approaches and placed-based opportunities for learning and connection, Wyoming Outdoor Council's Indigenous conservation program is working to develop an Indigenous-led perspective of stewardship and an approach to addressing the climate crisis that promotes cultural teachings.
